AIESEC Skopje

AIESEC in Skopje first existed under AIESEC Yugoslavia in 1953. In 1993, AIESEC Yugoslavia divided into separate entities, thus beginning the legacy of what is now called AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia and its one sub entity LC Skopje. During this long period it has grown into most active student organization on the Economical Faculty in Skopje. Since its beginning, AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia has cooperated with more than 500 Macedonian and international companies and organizations. We have years of experience on organizing international internships which have brought our city closer to the world. Leadership opportunities have profiled our organization and our local committee as a place to develop skills and gather experience to act as efficient and responsible leaders in the future. 

 We enable cultural exchange through matching high-quality internships with motivated students from all over the world to live and work in Skopje, and even more important - we offer internships for all the members of our local committee.

 AIESEC Skopje has also realized over 500 internships in Macedonian companies in addition to sending 500 Macedonian students to gain international work experience abroad. In its history, AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia has comprised of over 300 alumni, including prominent national and international individuals such as Dr. Taki Fiti (Professor at the Faculty of Economics in the University of Skopje), Srgjan Kerim (Former UN ambassador for Macedonia), Gjorgi Janchevski (General Manager of Tutunska Banka) etc.

A big part of the activities and results of AIESEC in Macedonia ever since its beginnings have been carried by LC Skopje. Today AIESEC Skopje has around 100 active members which are mainly allocated in projects working around certain issues

Partners of AIESEC Skopje have recognized this quality and support us, as well as the Faculty of Economics in Skopje where we are situated. We are working hard to bring this experience to an even higher level and to extend the reach of our partnerships to create even more integrated student - corporate co-operation in our town, that way we can ensure that our partners get the best service, have access to highest profiled future workforce on university, and for our members to develop optimally during their time on the university.
