Global Internship Program

Global Internship Program is one of the main programs that AIESEC offers to young people. Trough this program you have the opportunity to interact with other people from other countries, in an international environment.

Each year, 12 000 students practice in areas like management, technology, education, and development and live one of the 110 great AIESEC countries. 

 There are 2 types of internship programs that AIESEC offers to you:

1. Volunteering Global Internship:

Through this type of internship you will work in projects hosted by the other AIESEC country together with another organization (e.g. MGO, organizations, schools, ect.). Usually these projects are related to social issues, from local to global level. That's why if you are looking for personal development and in the same tame to experience another culture and to have a positive impact in the society, than global volunteering internship is perfect for you.

For this internship, usually the intern receives food and accommodation form the organization involved in the project. The duration is between 6 and 24 weeks, depending on the country. 

2. Professional Global Internship:

This kind of internship takes place in another organization that AIESEC and it can be on educational, technical or economical area. Besides interacting and understanding another culture, the main purpose of the internship is to offer you professional development.

During this internship, the host organization will provide you salary so you can cover your housing and living expenses, according to the GDP's (Gross Domestic Product) hosting country. The duration is between 8 to 78 weeks, depending on the country. 

Main Areas:

Educational Internships: language, linguistic, bilingual and cross cultural education, intoductory education, advanced education, teaching, training, ect.

Technical Internships: electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, software development and programming, web development and management, network management and data transmission, ect.

Economical Internships: management, project management, international marketing, business administration, market evaluation and research, advertising and public relation, ect.
